Smart Pharma Institute of Management proposes its high-level training "Pharma Strategy & Marketing" for the medico-marketing-sales teams operating in both national and international environments and willing to enhance their skills in the following areas:

Objectives

  • Enhance the understanding of key strategic issues in the Pharmaceutical sector
  • Acquire a better knowledge of strategic and operational marketing specificities
  • Learn to use appropriately the key marketing concepts and the strategic analytical tools that are the most powerful
  • Improve the quality of the market analyses carried out and of the recommendations proposed
  • Acquire the basic principles of management and the way they should be applied in practice
  • Develop skills to communicate with corporate leadership through logical and structured presentations

 

The training program will be organized as a
5-day residential session (Monday to Friday)
in Paris from 17 to 21 October 2016

 

 

Program

Day 1: Strategic thinking applied to companies
Day 2: Marketing strategic thinking
Day 3: Marketing tactical thinking
Day 4: Specialized market segments (generics, biosimilars, OTC, mature products, hospital products)
Day 5: Development of managerial skills

 

 

Teaching method

  • Training of participants to marketing and management problem solving (based on case studies, enriched by practical exercises)
  • "Educative" challenge (e.g. analytical rigor, relevance of recommendations, structure and quality of the presentations)
  • Animation of the 5 days led by Jean-Michel Peny (25-year teaching experience in Business Schools and in the Faculty of Pharmacy)
  • Co-animation by 10 experienced professionals from the pharmaceutical sector
 

Application conditions

  • Fill-in an application form
  • Validate the adequacy of candidate expectations with program content, during an interview with the Faculty Director
  • Sign a training agreement
